Currently we are undertaking a twin centre randomised protocol clinical trial comparing SpineCor treatment with the natural evolution of idiopathic scoliosis. This study is being carried out by Ste Justine Hospital, Montreal, Canada and Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, Oxford, United Kingdom. Interim results of this trial, published in September 2002, show a significant difference between the treated and untreated groups. See Clinical Results page.
In the near future, we hope to look at the possibility of a new clinical trial to evaluate the efficacy of SpineCor treatment, specifically on juvenile curves.
