ScoliScan is a new scoliosis-specific x-ray system that has been developed to fully utilize the dose reduction capabilities of newly available technologies.


This micro-dose x-ray system is optimised for geometric spinal imaging. This optimisation allows a 600 to 2000 fold reduction in dose depending on selected image quality, whilst producing images that allow accurate measurement.


With this new technology it is possible to routinely monitor spinal deformity cases without the risk associated with current practices, with the aim of improving monitoring and management of scoliosis and other spinal deformity cases.
